Yadav Weddings Blend Of Elegance And Traditions

Getting married is one of the biggest decisions that one make in their life. It is a one-time opportunity that is special for everyone. It is like a grand celebration for everyone when each family member gets charged up and work as a catalyst in celebration. When it comes to Yadav’s their weddings are a just pure mix of elegance and traditions. Starting from day one they keep on celebrating each day with grand celebrations.

Once I read on Yadav matrimonial site about the different customs that are just pure bliss to watch.  With huge colorful traditions, friends, families and the rituals make this day special remember-able.

Some of the most important rituals of them are:

Pre-wedding rituals:

1. It all starts with Roka ceremony that is a pre-wedding ritual. Here the exchange of gifts takes place and usually, it is called an engagement ceremony. Now their final search for the right groom and bride is over with this. Families finally stop searching Indian matchmaking sites.

2.  Mehendi night comes before a day of the wedding when the couple and the other members who wish for add Mehendi on the palm and legs. It holds lots of significance in Indian marriage and is important to symbolize the beauty. Music and dance add on the charm to this function.

3. Teeka ceremony is also an important function that takes place before the wedding day. This ceremony begins with the Puja where the bride’s father show their love for the groom and his family by gifting them different gifts and respect.

Wedding Day Ritual:

1. Haldi is the next ceremony to take place on the morning of the wedding day. In this function, the family members apply a paste made up of mustard oil, turmeric, rose water, sandalwood etc. It is applied on the face, arms, and feet of the groom and the bride. It is a natural beauty product that is actually effective.

2. Then comes the main wedding part where the couple performs some of the wedding vows and takes seven rounds around the fire. Then the priest chanted the mantras and with complete sanctity, wealth, comforts the wedding get complete.

Post-Wedding Ritual:

Here comes the most emotional part Vidaai! Like when we leave our college and school, we get a farewell party; the same is a vidaai ceremony which is a kind of farewell to the bride. In this, before stepping out of the house the bride throw the rice and coins over her head that is the symbol of repaying what the parents have given so far.

Isn’t it so beautiful!
